About the Book:
Of Mice and Men is a novel written by Nobel Prize-winning author John Steinbeck. Published in 1937, it tells the tragic story of George Milton and Lennie Small, two displaced migrant ranch workers, who move from place to place in search of new job opportunities during the Great Depression in California. It goes to slow and jerky for me. I read naturally with better reading comprehension and faster. I liked what he said in the video about not reading every word (they teach kids with dysgraphia and dyslexia like that now too. My granddaughter has groups of sight words and is encouraged not to read every word). But I just foudn the youtube vids and how the words were displayed harder to keep up with and it slowed me down.
