Q. Does comprehension go down when reading speed is increased?
No.  Studies have repeatedly shown that students with faster reading rates almost always have a better understanding of the material.  This is because faster readers have better focus and are therefore able to understand the material better.

Q. How does the Iris Reading Program work?
The program focuses on breaking old reading habits and replacing them with more effective techniques. This is accomplished in our classes through a variety of drills and exercises.

Q. What is the Average Reading Speed?
The average person in the U.S. reads 150 - 250 words per minute (WPM). Most students finish the Iris Reading Program reading 2-5 times faster.

Q. How will the Iris Reading Program help me in school?
This unique skill will enable you to complete your reading assignments faster with better comprehension and retention, and ultimately leading to improved grades. The skills that will be introduced to you during the program, will improve your efficiency as a student.

Q. I'm not in school. Will the class still be useful?
Yes. Half of the attendees in our classes are business professionals that are not currently in school. Many are taking the class for personal reasons or are preparing to go back to school.
